№ 03Products
Nature is our ally — and we want to respect it
milk_shake® makes the most of what nature offers: milk and yogurt proteins, fruit extracts and other natural ingredients that bring out the hair’s own beauty, with dedicated solutions for every hair type.
From cleansing to styling, every step is devised to show visible results in both the look and the health of the hair — created with an awareness of environmental impact and a commitment to reducing it.
Sold at the salon. Your stylist will point you at the two or three that actually matter for your hair — not the whole shelf.
№ 04Packages
Services from our price list, grouped for the moments people actually book them. The value shown is the sum of each service at its starting price — ask at the salon for this season’s package price.
Two chairs, one booking: a cut & style and a cut & shampoo, side by side.
Fresh colour and a finished cut & style — the gift she’ll actually use.
Colour, then a reconstruction treatment to stand up to Florida sun, salt and chlorine.
Face-framing brightness and a finished style, ready for every party on the calendar.
The classic combo: new colour and a fresh cut in one visit.
Keratin smoothing plus a reconstruction treatment — frizz control that also repairs.
Tell us the package name when you book or call — we’ll set aside the right amount of time.
№ 05The Work

Photography is styled for the studio. Your consultation starts with a swatch against your own hair — never a screen.
№ 06Education

A team of styling consultants, technicians and educators share what they learn from global fashion research — a collection inspired by the big names in fashion that enriches The Hair Color Experts and sharpens our professional ability.
A world of products for every need: from colour to styling, from hair care to waving and strengthening. The result of that know-how is a training programme that keeps extending what our salon floor can do.
№ 07Visit
On-site parking · wheelchair accessible entrance, parking & restroom · Wi-Fi · walk-ins welcome, appointments recommended · cards, checks and tap-to-pay accepted.
Booking hours
These are the booking hours we have available — our hours of operation.
№ 08Our Policies
Our priority is to guarantee the best possible environment for every guest. A missed appointment or a last-minute cancellation is lost income for the team member who saved that time for you — so these are the rules, written plainly.
As a courtesy you get a confirmation text or e-mail at least 72 hours before your appointment. If you don’t confirm and we can’t reach you at least 48 hours ahead, the appointment may be cancelled and a fee may apply. Remembering your date and time is your responsibility.
Your appointment is reserved especially for you. We respectfully ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or change it. With less than 24 hours’ notice your stylist may charge a cancellation fee or ask for a deposit to secure future bookings; if it becomes a recurring issue, they may decline future services.
Call ahead if you’re running behind. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean forfeiting the appointment, and a cancellation fee may apply.
If you don’t call or text to cancel or reschedule and don’t show up at the scheduled time, you will be charged 50% of the service originally booked.
A credit card may be required on file to book any appointment longer than two hours. Without 24 hours’ notice to cancel or change it, that card may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service.
Children must be attended at all times by another adult who is not receiving services. It keeps your child safe and the salon professional for everyone else in a chair.
A hair audit / consultation is required before booking a colour correction or special service, and it is at no charge to you. A colour correction contract must be signed before the appointment begins.
Colour history and any medication must be disclosed to your stylist. If you are under the care of a doctor, it is your responsibility to check whether colour services are compatible with your prescription or treatment — your stylist is not a trained physician.
Tell your colourist about any of these — mixed with salon chemicals they can react badly:
Any damage caused to the hair as a result of information not disclosed during the consultation is not the responsibility of the stylist. We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone.
№ 09Join our team
We hire established stylists with four or more years of experience behind the chair. If you are newly licensed or still in school, ask us about the Associate Application instead — the education salon is where a lot of our people started.
Send us your name, your experience, whether you’re currently employed, part time or full time, and the hours you can work. We get back to every application.
№ 10FAQ
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are strongly recommended — colour work books out, and a chair is not always free. Book online any time, or call 239-257-2243 during opening hours.
Because hair is not one size. Length, density, texture and how far your current colour is from the result you want all change the amount of product and time needed. Your stylist quotes you an exact price before anything is mixed — no surprises at the desk.
That is what corrective colour is for, and it is the work we are known for. Corrective colour always begins with a free consultation and a signed service agreement — we need to see the hair first, because box dye, old highlights and previous lightening all behave differently. Price is quoted at that consultation, never blind.
We ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or move an appointment. Inside 24 hours a fee may apply, or a deposit may be requested for the next booking; a no-show is charged at 50% of the reserved service. A card may be kept on file for appointments longer than two hours. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean losing the slot — colour runs on a clock, and the guest after you is holding one too.
We carry milk_shake®, the Italian line built around naturally derived ingredients — honey, jojoba, mango and more — for colour care, styling and repair. Your stylist will tell you which two or three products actually matter for your hair instead of selling you the whole shelf.
A single-process colour is usually the shortest visit; full foils, balayage and corrective work take considerably longer because they are done section by section. When you book, tell us what you are after and we will set aside the right amount of time.
Yes — facial waxing is now offered at the salon: brow, lip and chin. Ask at the desk or when you call and we will add it to your visit.
Yes. Gift certificates are purchased at the salon — fast, easy, and always the right size. Come by during opening hours.
Our education salon runs workshops on current designs, products and technique, open to stylists from across the region. Email info@thehaircolorexperts.com and tell us what you want to work on.

They are not two names for the same thing. One is painted, one is packeted — and that decides how your hair grows out.
Foils are precise. Each section is lightened inside a folded packet, which holds heat and lets us lift close to the root with a clean, controlled line. That is why full foils give you brightness through the whole head and why they need a touch-up as the root moves down. Partial foils do the same job around the face and parting, where the light actually shows.
Balayage is painted free-hand. The lightener is swept on in a soft gradient, heavier towards the ends, feathered where it meets your natural depth. Because there is no hard start line, it grows out gently — many clients stretch four to five months between visits. The trade-off is that it lifts more slowly and rarely gets as pale at the root as a foil will.
The short version: choose foils when you want maximum brightness and even coverage, and balayage when you want a soft, low-maintenance grow-out. Bring photos of both what you like and what you hate — the second set tells us more.
Care · Reading time 3 min
Sun, salt, chlorine and hot showers. Four things that live here all year and quietly pull your colour out.
Heat opens the cuticle. Every time you rinse with water hot enough to steam the mirror, you let pigment escape — reds and coppers first, because their molecules are the largest and sit closest to the surface. Rinse cool at the end of a wash; it is the cheapest colour insurance there is.
Chlorine and salt are drying agents; they do not just fade tone, they roughen the cuticle so light scatters and the hair reads dull. Wet your hair with clean water before you get in the pool or the Gulf — hair that is already full of fresh water absorbs far less of what is around it. Rinse again straight after.
Then there is UV, which bleaches the pigment directly and is strongest here between eleven and three. A hat on the water, a leave-in with UV filters, and washing less often than you think you should will carry most colours comfortably to the next appointment. A gloss in between refreshes tone without touching your lift.

Five minutes of preparation is the difference between the colour you imagined and the colour you got.
Bring your history. Every box dye, every henna, every home lightening kit and roughly when it happened. None of it is a confession — it is chemistry we need to plan around. Hair that has met metallic salts or henna can react badly to lightener, and we would much rather know before than during.
Bring photographs — in daylight, ideally on hair with a similar base to yours, and include one or two you actively dislike. Knowing what you do not want narrows the target faster than another picture of what you do. And come with your hair down and dry, not freshly washed and not tied up, so we can read its real texture and how it falls.
Finally, bring your calendar and your budget. Some results are one appointment; some are a plan over two or three, spaced to keep the hair healthy. Knowing what you can give us in time and money lets us design a route to the colour instead of promising it in one sitting.
